We are pleased to inform you that a new system has been set up to notify users when their passwords are nearing expiration. Starting today, you will begin receiving email reminders about your upcoming password expiration based on the following intervals:
- 14 days before expiry
- 7 days before expiry
- 1 day before expiry
Password Reset Requirements:
As a reminder, your password must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 12 characters long.
- Contain at least one special character (e.g., @, #, $, etc.).
- Include at least one number.
Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR):
In addition to the email reminders, we have also set up Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR). This tool allows you to reset your password even if it has already expired, providing a convenient and secure way to manage your credentials.
To use SSPR, you must first add additional authentication methods to your Microsoft account to ensure the security of your identity. To set up these authentication methods, please visit https://aka.ms/ssprsetup and follow the instructions. Once configured, you will be able to securely reset your password at any time, from any device.
To reset your password, simply visit https://aka.ms/sspr from any web browser and follow the instructions.
If you encounter any issues or have questions about your password or SSPR setup, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for your attention, and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping your account secure.
