Lidar Drone Training & Lidar Consultant

SW+ hired a lidar drone consultant to help evaluate different drones, cameras and processing methods in order to make a more informed decision for the SW+ Survey Department. We signed a contract with Daniel Windham in January 2025, who is the owner of BaseMap consulting. He will provide consulting services for the period of one year from the beginning of our contract date. At the bottom of this article there are 2 attachments, one is from BaseMap consulting, giving us a breakdown of their services and suggested hardware & software costs. The second attachment is from Duncan Parnell, for providing a quote on the Wingtra VTOL drone. All of this data can also be found on this spreadsheet.
